bento lunches here we come!

I’ve bought myself a laptop lunchbox after reading through veganlunchbox! I’ve been wanting to get one for a little while and get into it, so it came this morning and I’m pretty excited to get into bento eating!
These are hugely popular with many flickr groups available and lots of different recipes for bentos. I’ll be posting some of my own recipes are shortly and hopefully it will keep me eating properly and losing weight.
As for today, I slept in a little and got up and did a resistance workout with a 40 minute itrain iclimb session at home and also an ab workout to top it off! Boy, did I sweat!
Today’s menu:
- breakfast: 3/4 cup rolled oats, 25 grams protein powder
- lunch: medium egg, 1 tbs relish, mushrooms, garlic, farmland wholemeal bread - 2 slices
- dinner: concept from italian rice and beans - 1 serve 90 seconds brown rice, 125 gram can drained lentils, handful spinach, salt, lemon juice, parmesan, 4-5 cashews raw, 3 cherry tomatoes
- snacks: banana, 1 skinny latte
- drinks: water, coffee, sugarfree v
- calorie intake: 1157 calories
Exercise:
Fingers crossed, I get out on time and can go to hockey as well but did a resistance workout, ab workout and itrain iclimb set 12 on a x-trainer.
- resistance band workout consisting of:
- lunges, 15 x 3
- sumo squats, 5 kgs, 15 x 3
- chest press, 15 x 3
- lat pulldown, 15 x 3
- one arm curls, 15 x 3 each arm
- tricep pushdown, 15 x 3 each arm
- shoulder press, 15 x 3
- row with squat, 15 x 3
- leg extension, 15 x 3
- standing calf raises, 15 x 3
- ab work consisting of:
- 10-15 walkover pushups
- 15-20 raised arm planks
- 15 plank with oblique twist
- 5 raised pushups
- 50 scissors combo
- 50 crunches with leg raise
- itrain iclimb x-trainer set 12, 40 mins
- calorie output: 682 calories
