homemade falafel pita salad and yoghurt

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted the bento. I’ve still been having them, but haven’t been motivated to actually go and take a photo! Today’s bento is some home made falafels inspired by this falafel recipe but changed. I baked them to make them low fat and these are only 53 calories per ball, which is great! I defrosted a wholemeal pita bread and cut some salad up to have with it, making my own garlic low cal aioli / mayonnaise to use.

 

Bento Summary:

  • falafels
  • lettuce
  • 1/2 hydroponic tomato
  • garlic alioli / mayonnaise
  • nudie banana and strawberry yoghurt (these are delicious and low in calories)
  • mandarin

Exercise Summary:

  • yesterday was 40 min i-train iclimb set 9, 495 calories burnt
  • today will be training with weights and ab workout beforehand
