Inspiration

The most recent poll shows that most of you either have your own blog (66%) or co-write one (16%). 16% would like to write your own, but don’t know where to start.

This has got me thinking how much inspiration we get from other people’s blogs. I know I have a list of blogs that I regularly tune into via an RSS reader. All of them give me great ideas and inspire me to change the recipe or think about making the recipe in the future.

Some of my favourite ones aren’t necessarily vegetarian, some are vegan and others have a combination of vegetarian and meat recipes. So feel free to add any that you believe are great and why you think they are.

Here’s a list of ten of my many favourites in no particular order:

  1. Too Many Chefs - many contributers but also has meat dishes, just a different perspective to most.
  2. Fatfree Vegan Kitchen - a favourite with most that has a lot of fat-free recipes.
  3. The Traveler’s Lunchbox - a great recipe site that is specialises in travelling also.
  4. Vegan YumYum - wonderful inspiring photos with great recipes and has just been on the Martha Stewart show!
  5. Gluten Free Gobsmacked - Gluten Free recipes with some great ideas!
  6. Vegalicious - another site with beautiful photos and recipes to match
  7. Lucullian Delights - site with wonderful Italian recipes and lovely Italian photos
  8. Dr. Stonie Love - a fellow flickr with wonderful photos and recipes
  9. Mango Power Girl - another fellow flickr with inspiring photos and recipes
  10. Taste of India - a RSS feed of multiple Indian sites with spicy recipes

Here’s your chance to add your top 5 (more of less if you want) blogs that inspire you or just add your own for others to view.

Poll this week: Do you enjoy cooking new food?
