Spicy BBQ Corn

Who can say no to a delicious barbecued sweet corn on the cob?

Serves:

Three

Ingredients:

  • 3 pieces fresh corn, remove hull and clean
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • pinch salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic mince
  • 1/2 tsp ginger mince
  • 1/2 tsp chilli paste
  • 2 tbs light butter or margarine
  • 1/2 tsp coriander ground
  • 1/2 tsp parsley flakes

Instructions:

  1. Mix all herbs and spices into a container.
  2. Add the butter or margarine and rub through the spices.
  3. Place each corn on a piece of foil and grab a little of the butter mix and rub all over the corn with your hands - nice and messy!
  4. Repeat with all corn and leave a little of the mixture for placing on when serving.
  5. Wrap the foil up and cook on the barbie until soft!
  6. Remove the foil and place a little of the mixture on the corn to melt, more seasoning is optional.
