Looking for a lower fat or calorie alternative to pizza night? These little babies are a great alternative! Toast it up in the oven and add your favourite dressings before placing back in to melt that lovely cheese on top!
It’s great using the tortillas because they crisp up nicely and a whole tortilla is around 140 calories! So you feel like you’re indulging without affecting the waistline!
Also, they’re very quick and simple to make - only taking 10 minutes to cook up!
Serves:
- 1 tortilla per person
Ingredients:
- tortillas
- 1 vegetarian hotdog, very thinly sliced
- 50 grams mozzarella, thinly sliced
- drizzle olive oil
- 1 tbs tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp garlic mince
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C or 360 F.
- Place tortilla in the oven for a minute to toast up.
- Mix the garlic, olive oil and tomato paste together and brush onto the pizza.
- Sprinkle the hot dog pieces out and mozzarella onto the pizza.
- Place in the oven for 10 minutes or until crispy.
