spicy_lentil_mince_burgers

I made this today for lunch, knowing I would have lots of leftovers to freeze and to put in sandwiches. These have a nice little bite and are great in sandwiches with coriander and tomato kasoundi or chutney!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup red lentils
  • 300 gram Sanitarium vegie mince
  • pinch salt
  • 2 tbs green masala paste
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tbs flour for binding
  • olive oil for cooking

Serves:

  • 10 patties
  • 85.3 calories per patty

Instructions:

  1. Soak lentils in water for 2 hours.
  2. Once soaked, cook in a cup of water with salt, until soft.
  3. Mix all ingredients in bowl.
  4. Grab pieces of mixture and form hamburgers.
  5. Cook in oil on pan.
