I made this today for lunch, knowing I would have lots of leftovers to freeze and to put in sandwiches. These have a nice little bite and are great in sandwiches with coriander and tomato kasoundi or chutney!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup red lentils
- 300 gram Sanitarium vegie mince
- pinch salt
- 2 tbs green masala paste
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 tbs flour for binding
- olive oil for cooking
Serves:
- 10 patties
- 85.3 calories per patty
Instructions:
- Soak lentils in water for 2 hours.
- Once soaked, cook in a cup of water with salt, until soft.
- Mix all ingredients in bowl.
- Grab pieces of mixture and form hamburgers.
- Cook in oil on pan.
