Last night I ended up doing about 10-15 minutes of the i-train session 9 and decided I wasn’t really in the mood for it.

I then decided to head off for a run around West Melton to force myself to exercise. I’m not sure, I think I actually like running now rather than being stuck on a machine. Weird huh? I never thought I’d be one to get into running.

So out I went with my Garmin Forerunner and HRM, running for 4.38km in the dark. I really need to get one of those headlamps, because not only is it not safe running in the pure black but it’s quite scarey too! Too many potholes and dark shadows! :D

Today’s plan is legs for weights, I’ll be doing this at hockey as well as some boxing, then training.

My legs session is here:

  • standing calf raises 15 reps
  • sumo squats 15 reps
  • Dumbell squats - alter weight 15 reps
  • Lying Leg curls 15 reps
  • Dumbell Lunges 15 reps
  • Leg extensions 15 reps
  • One legged leg press 15 reps - STABILITY BALL
  • Stiff legged dead lifts 15 reps
  • Leg press 15 reps - STABILITY BALL
  • Dumbbell squats 15 reps
  • king squat (one legged) - 15 reps
  • Lying down curls 15 reps
  • Calf press 25 reps
  • One legged calf raises 25 reps
  • Leg extensions 15 reps
  • Lying Leg curls 15 reps

repeat 3 times.
