pheweee! Talk about dedication! I’ve just come back from the gym where I started at 5:45AM doing a spinning class, then did my normal weights routine on top of it!
I sweated much more than I normally do, doing an early start. It was a little exhausting but worth the effort and I think I might make it a consistent theme from now on. It’s something I can keep doing whilst working also. I just head to work after the gym!
Tonight I’m off to the footy, should be fun. Go the dogs!
Today’s workout involved:
- 45 minute spinning class
- weights routine of:
- lunges - 15 x 3
- sumo squats - 15 x 3, 11.3 kgs
- chest press - 15 x 3, 30 kgs
- lat pulldown - 15 x 3, 70 pds
- BB biceps - 15 x 3, 17.5 kgs
- tricep pushdown - 15 x 3, 90 pds
- shoulder press - 15 x 3, 13 kgs
- seated row - 15 x 3, 70 pds
- leg press - 15 x 3, 82 kgs
- calf press - 15 x 3, 82 kgs
- stomach crunches - 50 x 1
- side reaches - 50 x 1
- leg reaches - 50 x 1
- v-hold - 10 secs x 5
- Statistics:
- 1 hr 22 mins
- 760 calories burnt
- 45% fat
- max HB - 169
- avg HB - 137
So overall, not too bad, but I do need to raise my average HB to higher. I’ll have to put some more cardio into the weights again.
