What’s on the Menu: Week Starting 14/01/2008

Well the heat is on in Melbourne and so are the salads, for not only easy cooking but for a healthy one as well! Two recipes these weeks are from my lunches from the previous week and they were both delicious! I’ll continue to make different salads to ensure I don’t get bored with the same thing! For those on health kicks or diets, these will average the 200-300 maximum calories mark.
Also on the menu, is the German Wiener Schnitzel. I’ve always wanted a vegetarian version, but never found one that quite got it right, this one is nearly perfection! Try it out yourself and let me know what you think!
Back to me, the new health kick is going well! My fitness regime has stepped up with some fartleks and sprints thrown into my runs…hopefully I’ll see an improvement in my fitness at hockey preseason coming up shortly!
