What’s on the Menu: Week Starting 16/07/2008

I didn’t get the chance to write a preview last week, as I was actually at the footy watching the Bulldogs beat St Kilda in Australian Rules. They’re doing so great - I hope they can keep it up!
Food-wise, the new ideas haven’t stopped and with inspiration around everywhere it makes it so much easier. As a food-lover, I love watching cooking shows, reading books and surfing other sites for ideas and great recipes to try! There’s just so much out there and so little time!
This week’s menu includes a chickpea and mince curry which was for a light meal on top of home-made crumpets which are a family recipe. I’ve yet to talk my mum to let me share the family-kept recipe, so unfortunately it won’t be appearing any time soon. It’s not far off a normal pikelet recipe for those interested or you can just use pancakes.
I also have a great mushroom and herb spaghetti in line, that’s made amazing by roasting the mushroom with the herbs. Also up is Moroccan Stew with Couscous which is very, very easy to make and absolutely delicious.
