What’s on the Menu: Week starting 4/02/08

Wow! It’s already the second month in for 2008 and hasn’t it gone fast?
How many of us have stuck to our new year’s resolutions? I’ve certainly kept on the right track at most times with mine… but it is a slow process trying to get fit and lose weight!
Hockey preseason started yesterday for me and I have to admit, I’m feeling a little stiff today. Surprisingly, I was able to keep up and my exercise routine has got a lot to do with it!
I’m still eating quite healthy, but still able to treat myself to some great menus! Speaking of menus, this week’s recipes are a mixture of light meals and one extraordinary main…all are certainly delicious to eat, but the gnocchi and the haloumi dishes are certainly high on my all-time favourites!
Heading back to exercise, wish me luck! I’ve got preseason again on Tuesday with the lovely beep test…I’m hoping my second day blues of stiffness isn’t too tragic and I’m well recovered for Tuesday night’s pain…
